Who we are ?
The NGO GRAND COEUR is a non-profit, volunteer, and humanitarian organization founded in Benin. It is officially recognized under number 2024-4/094/PDB/SGD/SAG/SA.
Since its creation, GRAND COEUR has worked to help people in difficult situations, promote inclusion for all, and encourage community development.
Independent and committed, it places people at the center of its actions, with heart and for the good of all.
Our Mission
We are committed to defending the rights of vulnerable people, particularly those living with disabilities. Through our actions, we strive for their inclusion in society, their access to the same opportunities as everyone else, and their full social, economic, and personal development.
Our Vision
Building an inclusive and equitable society, in which all people living with disabilities are fully integrated, valued and fulfilled, with equal access to rights, opportunities and a dignified life.
Our Objectives
Psychosocial support
• Organization of listening, counseling, and psychological support sessions. • Creation of frameworks for dialogue and expression to strengthen self-esteem and social inclusion.
Economic Empowerment
• Implementation of income-generating micro-projects (IGPs).
• Support in creating economic activities for trained beneficiaries.
Education and training
• Support or educational assistance for children with disabilities.
• Organization of vocational training (sewing, IT, crafts, etc.) for vulnerable youth and adults.
Material and medical support
• Distribution of wheelchairs, crutches, white canes, and other adapted equipment.
• Establishment of partnerships with healthcare facilities to facilitate access to care.
Awareness
Organization of awareness campaigns on the rights of people with disabilities and vulnerable groups.

All staff of the NGO GRAND COEUR and its managers at various levels are resolutely committed to fulfilling its mission and strive to maintain and strengthen the trust of its partners, target groups, and authorities at various levels, through respect for transparency, integrity, fairness, and impartiality. We conduct our activities with integrity, clearly reporting on our management, choices, and results.
